The menu at Fatboiz on 1673 N. Pace Boulevard is straight to the point: Eight massive, signature sandwiches for $6 apiece, each made with a gratuitous amount of meat, cheese and veggies, and an equal amount of handcrafted care.
“It’s the love, the l-o-v-e in each sandwich,” Fatboiz owner and general manager Moses Williams said, on what he thinks will make his homemade sandwiches stand out in Pensacola. “It is major love in each sandwich.”
The new shop, inside of a strip mall on North Pace, seats 30 and is classified by its owner as a “sports bar sandwich shop.” Jerseys of star athletes like LeBron James and Khalil Mack are framed on the walls, which are lined with flat-screen TVs that will soon play this year’s NCAA March Madness tournament on a constant basis.
