OUR MISSION

Harvest Community Outreach Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 incorporated ministry. Our purpose is to provide resources and services to the local community in which we are located. We are in the community to equip and encourage our local community to find direction for their life.

What is our goal?

Harvest Community Outreach Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 incorporated ministry. Our purpose is to provide resources and services to the local community in which we are located. We are in the community to equip and encourage our local community to find direction for their lives.

Our vision is to continue to develop and maintain a network for food acquisition , storage and distribution to help meet the immediate needs of the local community as well as extend a helping hand in providing clothing, support encouragement and love for those facing dire circumstances beyond their control.

Our mission is to build up families and to build bridges of hope in the local community by reinforcing their educational, nutritional, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Communities to benefit from the ministry services include: Truman Arms / Oak Wood Terrace, Montclair, Diego Circle and Pensacola Village communities. Our hope is that you will be led to unite with our outreach ministry as partners and sponsors to become a part of the work that we have been called to do in these communities.

How does it work?

Donate to a specific project need, for example to the “Food Pantry “, or to a general project such as the “Clothing Closet”. You can always donate anonymously. Rather than a one time donation, you can become a monthly donor.

Spread the word! The more people who find out about the projects, the more support they will get. So post a link to this outreach site on your Facebook page or include it in your email-signature. You can also print out the project page and pin it to a noticeboard.

Current projects

Food Pantry: There are some families in our community who do not have the resources to adequately feed themselves. Our desire is to provide food boxes to supplement their nutritional needs through monthly food giveaways, weekly bread and pastry giveaways, along with health and nutritional education.

Tutoring & Mentoring: There are children in our community in need of tutoring and/or mentoring assistance with volunteers to assist these children with their homework, or to supervise and administer after school programs.

Youth & Parent Empowerment: We believe teaching life skills with biblical principles help youth and parents learn to make positive decisions for themselves; which enhances personal growth through independence, leadership, communication and social skills. Teaching these skills produce a foundation for success in life.

Clothing Closet: Our goal is providing free clothing for those in need while maintaining their dignity and providing opportunities to make improvements for their lives. We provide new and gently used clothing for those in need.

Thank you!

As a way to say thank you for your willingness to support the efforts of the Harvest Community Outreach programs, once a quarter we will highlight our individual donors and corporate sponsors in our quarterly newsletter which will be sent out by US Mail and through our extensive email distribution list which consists of our affiliates, Kingdom Harvest Christian ministry members, other church organizations and their members, a host of community leaders, volunteers and other business owners. We will place your business cards and our literature in the outreach center and make them available for those members in the community that participate in our weekly giveaways. If requested we will list your company, organization or an individual donor  as a Partner and Sponsor on our literature that is handed out in the local community.

Thank you in advance for considering making a difference in the lives of those in the local community. We are counting on your support, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
