Anyta graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida A &M University in 2010. After graduation, she worked in Surgical ICUs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and home health. She returned to school at Walden University for her Masters of Science in Nursing- Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and graduated with honors in 2015. Afterward, she began working in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities providing primary care to the geriatric population. While working in rural communities, she consistently had difficulty finding psychiatric providers for her patients with mental health instability. Anyta returned back to school for her Doctorate in Nursing with a specialization in Family Psychiatric Mental Health. Anyta completed her PMHNP post masters with honors in 2021 and her Doctorate with honors in 2023. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society. Anyta continues to spread her passion for healthcare and service to the community through advance practice nursing and leadership within IntervalCare.
