Pensacola, FL, Jan. 25, 2021 Marni Woodson, owner of Asher & Bee, Apothecary and Teahouse, will host a grand opening of The Busy Bee Mercantile & General Store on Jan. 29, 2021 at 12pm. A fresh foods grocery store in the heart of Pensacola, FL District 5.
The Busy Bee will sell an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables from locally sourced farmers, and will feature produce from local Black Farmers. The store will sell from its Grab and Go Kitchen hot and cold sandwiches, fruit bowls, soups, salads and other grocery items. The Busy Bee will also carry home made soaps, jams and jellies.
The Grand Opening Weekend is designed to bring out 1000 people to spend $20 and ensure a successful opening for an oasis in a food desert.
