As you know, each and every year BILLIONS of dollars are awarded to people and organizations, in the form of non-loan based and other types of funding. This money comes from all different sources including but not limited to state and federal agencies and through private corporations and foundations. Most people know this money exists, but just don’t know where to apply, how much they qualify for, or even where to get an application.
The Black Business Investment Grant is being brought about by a group of anonymous donors who want to see the growth of the Black Business Segment in NW Florida. They know that the more the community thrives in self-sufficiency the better the community can take care of itself.
The NW Florida Black Business Investment Grant funding programs has eligibility criteria, which an applicant must meet before a funding application will be considered. This grant application was designed to identify small businesses that qualify for these funds.
Deadline to Apply is May 25th, 2022

Application details:
Qualifying businesses should have 50% or more ownership stake by an individual or group of individuals of Sub-Saharan African origin, either as a Black Immigrant, African American, or an American Descendant of Slavery.
Qualifying Businesses should be listed in Bantucola.com as a Black Owned Business. The business can be listed using the free listing option. There is no penalty or reward for free or paid listings.
Businesses must be an active business, registered in the Florida SunBiz Division of Corporations.
Businesses receiving a grant must be operating from a NW Florida County. Including: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, or Washington County.
Businesses must be licensed to operate within one of the eligible counties listed above with a valid local business license.
Grant Applications must be completed online via the associated application form hosted on Bantucola.com.
Businesses must submit in 500 words or less how they will utilize this grant to invest in capacity building to grow their business.
Businesses receiving the grant will be required to report on their ability to expand capacity on a monthly basis for up to 6 months, and then voluntarily afterwards.
Each business will also receive a free business accelerator license to develop their business further, courteous of KuKua Institute.
